The Vestas Northern Central Europe (NCE) business unit is responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the NCE region. As an Area Supervisor within the crucial Service Function, you will be the immediate manager for a group of 3-5 Team Leaders in the North region of Sweden. You will lead our front-line operations team, working on some of the most high-profile onshore wind farms within the Swedish renewables industry.
In addition, you will be working with multiple departments across Vestas globally and support our colleagues and customers in making Vestas operations teams perform at the highest level. This role is vital in cultivating the environment in Sweden North by offering leadership, support and direction to the local Field Supervisors and technicians that form your wider team. You will report directly to the Area Manager of Sweden North and working closely with the customer service team and internal planning functions to accomplish your objectives and KPIs.


Responsibilities
The role is responsible for supervising the performance and for carrying out the company strategy in the North Area. Preparing for the future, ensuring performance and a professional mindset in the team today will be required to meet your goals in this role.
You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience
Responsible for carrying out the company strategy in the North Area by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize safety, quality and cost
Supervising and building a motivated and successful team of Field Supervisors in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Area Supervisor in North Sweden
Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally
Ensuring effective communication in the organization



Qualifications
We believe that you bring the following experience:
Several years of demonstrated people management experience in an operational environment, for instance of leading leaders
Educational background within business or technical field
Experience of change management and performance management
Solid experience with having had own economic responsibility
Experience in directing improvements through defining effective business cases
You should be thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office packages
Fluency in Swedish in both writing and speaking, as well as good knowledge in English in both writing and speaking

Additional information
The primary location of this position will be near any Warehouse in the north of Sweden, which can be Östersund, Jörn, Sundsvall or another one.

As a Field Supervisor for Traveling Service Technician, you will be responsible as direct manager fort the departments 24 technicians.
Responsibilities
The Field Supervisor has the operational responsibility for their area which include performance and budget targets. Activities affecting the operational part of the business is the responsibility of the Field Supervisor with the goal to develop the business becoming more efficient in close collaboration with the Dispatcher. The Field Supervisor has the people management responsibility of their employees. One is also part of a group of Field Supervisors who are sharing the work of improving cross-functional collaboration and improvements in our field work.
A Field Supervisor is occasionally delegated tasks or projects by the Area manager. Field Supervisor position is one of the organisational leadership pipelines into Area manager position in Sweden, but also prepares for management work elsewhere in the organisation as well.
Coordinate the most efficient execution of the plan that was made. Setting operational expectations and creating effective routines for technicians, following up performance by assuring safety, quality and timeliness of work and reporting conducted by technicians and constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve on safety, quality and cost.
Be responsible for hiring of and performance discussions with technicians
Reach out and interact with other stakeholders in Service Sweden/Nordic and externally as well as other internal departments, such as other Field Supervisors, planning, lean, admin, projects, PFO, technical support, Special Task and QSE functions.



Qualifications
Several years of experience in a teamleading position, benificially within a technical, electrical service or manufacturing business
Experience from process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, or a genuine willingness to learn about it
Fluent in Swedish and English, written and verbal
IT skills that enable handling administrative and information processing tasks
Drivers licence B for Sweden

We are looking for an HSE Field Support to primarily support our projects in northern Sweden. The location of the service is in Östersund. HSE Field Support will report to Team Lead for HSE Nordic. The team also consists of HSE Field support for southern Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
Responsibility
You will be responsible for supporting our service organization in meeting their customer requirements in northern Sweden. Communication, adaptation and awareness of safety are key words for the role.
The service is office-based, but also includes field activities (~50%) to our facilities and warehouses. The role involves climbing the turbines which is why we see that you should not have problems with heights. In addition, your data will include:
Provide expertise and support on HSE-related matters from our service organization
Attend customer meetings regarding HSE issues
Create HSE documentation for Swedish serviceites
Implementation of local legal requirements and strategies
Follow-up of subcontractors, including making risk assessments of the work
Provide expertise and support in incident investigations as well as root cause analysis


Qualifications
To succeed in the role, we are confident that you are someone with relevant work experience or a recent graduate in the relevant field, such as health and safety, risk management or technology. See general qualifications below:
In-depth knowledge of sustainability standards and concepts, processes, procedures and legal requirements regarding HSE
Knowledge of hazard assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
